West Coast ministry provides personal counselling and mentoring to at risk youth and their families within the Aboriginal community. We conduct workshops in life skills and help youth reintegrate into general society. We have local school and church partnerships.
Two of the directors, Dave and Karrie Skead
The directors of West Coast ministry are Dave and Karrie Skead and Bev Knight. Dave provides business expertise. Karrie develops and conducts skills training workshops in landscape design and provides ongoing counsel and mentoring. Bev serves as student advisor of Chemainus Native College & Stu”ate Lelum Secondary School who offers this program with the generous support of private donors and Chemainus Calvary Baptist Church.
